JP Farquar at City Hostel Seattle

This Friday, February 12 2010- City Hostel artist JP Farquar is showing new works in a solo show in the City Hostel Seattle Gallery from 5 – 9 pm! This show is not to be missed, see you there!

Jonathan Wakuda Fischer

Jonathan Wakuda Fischer laughed and danced his way through the few weeks of painting his room, staying up all night on coffee and Led Zeppelin too many nights in a row. It turned out great- see the finished product at the next opening on 2nd Friday Belltown Art Walk on Sept. 11, 2009 from 6pm – 9pm! Here is the video of his room in progress- never before seen footage of him working hard at the Hostel.

SOLACE’S Room minus the 15′ tall plush that lives there

The only way to truly see this room is to check it out at the next 2nd Belltown Art Walk, where residing in the room is a 15′ foot tall Wander Character who resides in this room- under the bed possibly? Behind the sink? Here is the video of the room in progress:

Weirdo- new show at the Corridor Gallery

If you like Weirdo’s room at the City Hostel Seattle, you should definitely see his show at the Corridor Gallery! It is open from 12 – 5pm on Friday and Saturday’s and will be up through October, in the Tashiro Kaplan Building at 306 S. Washington St.

Check out this show- you will already be in Belltown this evening since it is the same evening as the opening at the City Hostel Seattle on 2nd Friday Art Walk on Sept. 11, 2009. Kinoko and the Band’s Room!

Here are some pics from the room Kinoko did for traveling bands on tour. This room has been set aside to give for the night- for free- to bands who would be willing to do a 30 minute set for the rest of the guests, either in the lobby/gallery of the hostel, or weather depending- out back in the garden area! Kinoko killed it in there- but see for yourself on the next opening of the Hostel on 2nd Friday Art Walk in Belltown on Sept. 11th from 6 – 9pm!! See you there!!
