Jonathan Wakuda Fischer laughed and danced his way through the few weeks of painting his room, staying up all night on coffee and Led Zeppelin too many nights in a row. It turned out great- see the finished product at the next opening on 2nd Friday Belltown Art Walk on Sept. 11, 2009 from 6pm – 9pm! Here is the video of his room in progress- never before seen footage of him working hard at the Hostel.
If you like Weirdo’s room at the City Hostel Seattle, you should definitely see his show at the Corridor Gallery! It is open from 12 – 5pm on Friday and Saturday’s and will be up through October, in the Tashiro Kaplan Building at 306 S. Washington St.

Hope you all got a chance to check out your favorite artists paint at the Artoleptic Urban Arts and Music Festival this past weekend in Pioneer Square! 179, Solace, Jeff Taylor, Weirdo, Joey Nix, Parskid, Bill Hinker, Zac from Matamuros, Ego, PaperMarbleS, Mat Savage, John Osgood, Soule, Zealot, Hera, and JP Farquar were all in attendance! We had a great day getting dirty in the sun-
Video of Hera’s room when she was close to being done a few days before the opening of the Hostel. Since then, she has been painting around town, including being a featured artist at last weekend’s Artoleptic Festival!
